The following is a detailed description of the physical and chemical properties and typical uses of our titanium dioxide (TiO₂) products of different purities. If you need to purchase, please leave a message to contact us:
1. 80% purity titanium dioxide
Physical and chemical properties
Ingredients: The total titanium content is about 80%, containing a small amount of impurities such as Al₂O₃ and SiO₂.
Crystal form: mostly anatase type, some mixed crystal form.
Whiteness: Medium (L value is about 80-85).
Hiding power: Ordinary (about 80-100 m²/g).
Particle size: Coarse (D50 is about 0.3-0.5μm).
Chemical stability: Resistant to weak acids and weak alkalis, easy to decompose at high temperatures.
Main uses
Low-end coatings: Interior wall coatings, primers (low cost).
Plastic fillings: Low-end daily necessities, packaging materials (toughening, reducing costs).
Rubber products: fillers for non-high temperature resistant rubber.
2. 98% pure titanium dioxide
Physical and chemical properties
Ingredients: TiO₂ content ≥ 98%, low impurity content.
Crystal form: mainly anatase type.
Whiteness: relatively high (L value 85-90).
Hiding power: good (about 120-150 m²/g).
Refractive index: 2.55 (close to rutile type).
Particle size: medium (D50 about 0.2-0.3μm).
Main uses
Industrial coatings: building exterior wall coatings, anti-corrosion coatings.
Plastic whitening: general plastics such as PVC and PE (general weather resistance).
Ink printing: ordinary packaging ink.
3. 98.5% purity titanium dioxide
Physical and chemical properties
Composition: TiO₂≥98.5%, with stricter impurity control.
Crystal form: Anatase type, partially mixed with rutile type.
Whiteness: Excellent (L value 90-92).
Hiding power: Strong (about 150-180 m²/g).
Oil absorption: 18-22 g/100g.
Main uses
Mid-to-high-end coatings: automotive repair paint, wood paint.
Plastic products: home appliance housing, toys (improved weather resistance).
Papermaking: newsprint, packaging paper (improved whiteness).
4. 99% purity titanium dioxide
Physical and chemical properties
Composition: TiO₂≥99%, with extremely low impurity content.
Crystal form: mainly rutile (partially anatase).
Whiteness: extremely high (L value 92-95).
Hiding power: excellent (about 180-200 m²/g).
Weather resistance: excellent (anti-ultraviolet decomposition).
Particle size: fine (D50≤0.25μm).
Main uses
High-end coatings: original automotive paint, ship coatings.
Plastic film: agricultural film, packaging film (high transparency).
Rubber reinforcement: tires, seals (improve wear resistance).
